Foods That Can Fight Breast Cancer
Among the entire world, India is considered to be one of the top three countries that are bearing the burden of global breast cancer. It is very common nowadays in India and is becoming a threat amongst women. Women in the age group of 30-40 have more chances of developing this disease according to the recent studies found in statistics.
Breast cancer has no such specific cause, but various signs and symptoms such as a lump in the breast, bloody nipple discharge, breast pain, and a change in the shape or size of the breast or nipple indicate a risk cancer. Increased intake of alcohol or women who are overweight have more chances of developing breast cancer.

Brazil Nuts:
Since Brazil nuts are highly rich in selenium, phytochemicals and fibre, they can greatly help in reducing inflammation, improve the immune system and prevent the growth of tumour. Consume it as a snack or eat it with fruits.
Garlic:
Garlic contains a cancer-fighting compound known as allium which promotes in slowing down the growth of tumour and hence helps in reducing the risk of cancer along with prostate or colon cancer. Eat a piece of garlic every morning to live a cancer-free life ahead.
Pomegranate:
It consists of polyphenol, an ellagic acid which prevents the tumour growth. It is also rich in antioxidants which are highly beneficial to combat cancer cells.

Chillies and jalapenos contain capsaicin which is an active component for fighting the growth of cancer cells. Green peppers contain chlorophyll which helps in binding the cancer-causing carcinogens. Red peppers contain both, capsaicin and antioxidant carotenoids.
Turmeric:
Known as an instant rescue to clot the excess blood overflow during injuries, turmeric has won hearts of all Indians. It also possesses a cancer-fighting compound in it called curcumin which helps fight breast cancer. It is said to be one of the toughest fighter of almost all cancers. Consume a pinch of turmeric every day to keep cancer at bay.
