Crunchy Jowar Flakes Toast
An easy and nutritious delicacy for your early mornings or for your special evenings! Crispy flake sticks prepared with healthy flakes of Jowar becomes just another healthiest recipe ever!
1/4 cup Milk
2 cups Jowar Flakes
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
4 bread slices, cut into strips
Maple syrup, for serving
- Melt butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg(optional)
- Working one at a time, dip bread strips into the egg mixture, then dredge the strips in the True Elements Jowar Flakes.
- Working in batches, add bread strips to the pan, 3-4 at a time, and cook until evenly golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve immediately with maple syrup.
