Goji Cherry Detox Smoothie
Goji berry is a tiny, nutrient-busting, superfood that is loved by all; not only for the numerous health benefits it offers but also for its succulent taste. Coupled with cherries, strawberries, banana, spinach and cucumber, this refreshing drink definitely makes a great detox option. This recipe is filling and is great to have for breakfast.
1 cup Cherries, fresh or frozen
1 Banana, small, peeled
6 to 8 Strawberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 Cucumber, chopped
1 cup Baby spinach, washed thoroughly
1 cup Water
- Soak the dried goji berries in warm water for 10 min until they soften.
- Add the banana, soaked goji berries, strawberries and cherries in a high-speed blender along with some water and blend.
- Add the spinach and cucumber and blend for 30 to 45 seconds.
- The smoothie will be creamy and so full of goodness. Enjoy!
