Easy Home Made Nutella


Nutella is the smooth, chocolate spread that everybody loves. Loaded with hazelnuts, this is not just a spread but a nostalgic childhood treat. This recipe is just versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. Spread it over your toast, add it in your milk or in your cookie dough. The possibilities are endless.


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 175?.
  2. Place the hazelnuts, spread evenly on a baking sheet and toast them.
  3. This should take about 10-12 minutes.
  4. The hazelnuts will turn lightly brown with their skins coming out.
  5. Wrap the toasted nuts in a towel and rub vigorously to remove the loose skin.
  6. Melt the white chocolate using double boiler method. Grind the hazelnuts till they form a smooth paste.
  7. Add sugar, vanilla extract, oil, cocoa powder and salt and blend again.
  8. Add the melted chocolate and blend again.
  9. Allow the mixture to cool and store it in a jar.


1 cup hazelnuts
1 cup Milk chocolate, chopped
2 tbsp Vegetable oil
3 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
3/4 tsp Salt
