Here are some of the easiest cranberry desserts you can easily prepare for this Christmas.

Christmas Jelly:

Have you ever wondered the joy of eating ice-cream with jelly in a chilled night? If not, here is the perfect start for your first experience of ice-cream with jelly. Take about 3-4 cups of cranberries, 2 cups of powdered sugar, 1 cup of water, 2-3 spoons of fresh lemon extract and a pinch of salt as per the taste. Combine all these ingredients in a deep vessel and let it boil. Continue heating this mixture until the mixture turns into a thick sauce like liquid and the berries start popping. It can take around 20-25 minutes of boiling. Once boiled completely, strain the mixture and take out the mixture in a round bottom container and keep in a refrigerator for cooling. After an hour, serve it with vanilla ice-cream and enjoy the delicious taste.

Cranberry Pancakes:

Be it an early morning breakfast or a dessert served after dinner, pancakes always make up anyone’s mood. Take about 2 cups of cranberries in a container and add 2-3 spoons of powdered sugar and heat in a microwave. Heat it for about 10-15 minutes at a normal temperature until it softens. Pour this combination on top of pancakes and relish it deeply as your Christmas morning delight or a midnight pancake craving.

Cranberry Oatmeal:

People might be on a vacation mode, but not the ones who are on a diet. Be it any occasion, weight watchers can never compromise on their diet. Hence, to make their diet a little tempting and tasty, we have a new addition to their chart, healthy yet tasty. Take a half cup of cranberries, 2 cups water, 2-3 spoons of brown sugar in powdered form and a pinch of salt. Mix all these ingredients, pour it in a vessel and heat it on a medium flame for about 20-25 minutes. As soon as the berries start popping, add a cup of rolled oats and stir it continuously. Take it out on a serving dish and garnish it with dried cranberries and few hazelnuts.

Cranberry Smoothie:

And last but not the least, when the Christmas party comes to an end and your mother rushes behind you with a glass of milk before going to bed, you can avoid that with this super delicious and healthy cranberry smoothie. Pour half cup milk into a container, cut down 1 banana into thin slices and add it to the milk, add a half cup of dried frozen cranberries and a spoon of butter. Blend this mixture with a blender for about 10 minutes until it becomes thick and free of lumps. Pour it in a glass and garnish it with chocolate syrup and few cranberries on top.
