Oats and Nuts Chivda

Description
We all know the feeling when it’s mid-morning or a few hours after lunch, and a food craving hits. (oh no!)
Now rather than settling for a packaged food make your own munchies from scratch. It’s so easy to make and gets ready in minutes. Moreover, you can easily tweak the recipe as you wish like you can go ahead and add nuts and spices according to your likings
Ingredients
1/2 tsp Ghee
1 cup mix of Peanuts, Cashew nuts and True Elements Chilli Masala Pumpkin Seeds
1 pinch Asafoetida (Hing)
1 pinch Turmeric Powder
1 cup Puffed Rice
1/2 cup Red Poha
1/2 cup True Elements Rolled Oats
Curry Leaves
2 finely chopped Green Chillies
Salt to taste
1 cup mix of Peanuts, Cashew nuts and True Elements Chilli Masala Pumpkin Seeds
1 pinch Asafoetida (Hing)
1 pinch Turmeric Powder
1 cup Puffed Rice
1/2 cup Red Poha
1/2 cup True Elements Rolled Oats
Curry Leaves
2 finely chopped Green Chillies
Salt to taste
Directions (For qty, refer to the ingredients section)
- Heat 1/2 tsp ghee in a heavy saucepan, add peanuts, cashews and pumpkin seeds. Roast it until golden brown, then take them out on a napkin.
- In the same saucepan now add asafoetida, turmeric powder (just for the colour), puffed rice, red poha, oats, curry leaves, green chillies and stir fry them, until crisp.
- Now toss in the roasted peanuts, cashews and pumpkin seeds. Mix it well. Finally adjust the seasoning with salt (We have used chilli masala pumpkin which is spicy enough, you can add red chilli powder as per your choice).
- Voila! your crunchy mixture is ready.
