Quinoa a Gluten-Free protein-rich superfood can be used for meals all along day. This recipe is for Breakfast for a power-packed day.

1 ½ cup Almond Milk
1 cup True Elements Gluten-Free Quinoa
1 cup Water
2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 cup True Elements Dried Blueberries
4 tsp Californian Almonds (Chopped)
8 tsp Almond Milk
2 tsp Demerara Sugar
2 tsp Lemon Zest

Directions (For qty, refer to the ingredients section)

  1. Stir together 1 ½ Almond Milk, Quinoa, Water, Granulated Sugar, Ground Cinnamon, Salt and Almond Extract (optional) in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil over medium heat. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes until liquids are absorbed.
  3. Distribute into 4 bowls, top each with ¼ cup Blueberries, 1 Tbsp Chopped Almonds, 2 Tbsp Almond Milk, ½ tsp Demerara Sugar and ½ tsp fresh lemon zest.
  4. Serve it hot or cold according to preference.
