Nutella is the smooth, chocolatey spread that everybody loves. Loaded with hazelnuts, this is not just a spread but a nostalgic childhood treat. This recipe is just versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. Spread it over your toast, add it in your milk or in your cookie dough. The possibilities are endless.
1Pre-heat the oven to 175℃. Place the hazelnuts, spread evenly on a baking sheet and toast them. This should take about 10-12 minutes. The hazelnuts will turn lightly brown with their skins coming out.
2Wrap the toasted nuts in a towel and rub vigorously to remove the loose skin.
3Melt the white chocolate using double boiler method. Grind the hazelnuts till they form a smooth paste. Add sugar, vanilla extract, oil, cocoa powder and salt and blend again.
4Add the melted chocolate and blend again. Allow the mixture to cool and store it in a jar.
