It’s surely an uncertain and scary time, but you and your loved ones still need to eat proper and healthy meals. Cooking brings great comfort to the maker and the diner. It's also a great way to pass time when we are self-quarantined. You can make wonderful Recipes if your pantry is stocked with a few essentials. And if you are able to safely get to the store or have groceries delivered to you, your choices of recipes are even greater!

Just because you're stuck indoors, doesn't mean you have to eat boring food every day. Here are some Easy and Quick Recipes that your tummy will thank you for!

  1. Banana Pancakes:

  2. Made with Just Two Ingredients- Banana & Eggs, these pancakes are delicious and very easy to make!

    Smash 3-4bananas until they have a pudding-like consistency. Pour in eggs and stir until they combine. The batter will be loose and liquidy, Add honey or vanilla essence if needed. Heat a pan over medium heat, melt butter/vegetable oil in the pan, and drop about 2spoons of batter into the pan. it will sizzle immediately. Cook for about 1 minute till it looks brown and golden, then flip the pancake and let it cook for another minute. Serve warm with maple syrup/honey/jam!

  3. Overnight Oats:

  4. You might think overnight-oats are a hassle as you have to prepare them a day before. But it's fairly a simple process and makes your morning routine much easier.

    In a jar, mix 1/2 cup of Rolled Oats & 1/2 cup of Milk. Add Honey, chia seeds, a pinch of cinnamon, sliced fruits like apples, bananas, blueberries. Mix it all together, cover the jar and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator. Relish a delicious jar of healthy and tasty breakfast in the morning!

  5. Easy Mac & Cheese:

  6. Quickest and easiest way to make the Original Mac & Cheese!

    In a large Pot, take 1 Litre of Milk and Boil it. Add at least 2 cups of Pasta (450g) in the Pot, and stir constantly for about 10 minutes until the Pasta Cooks. Turn off the heat, and add about 2cups of Cheddar Cheese (200g), Stir until the cheese is melted and the pasta is evenly mixed and coated.

    Enjoy the delicious Mac & Cheese! You can even add some masala or Coriander powder to zing it up!

  7. Turmeric Kulfi:

  8. This one for the ice cream enthusiasts, who would want their ice creams to be healthy yet tasty too!

    Boil 1.5 litres of Full cream Milk, and add 1-2 spoons of fresh turmeric to it (20gms). Add 30g of sugar and let the milk boil for a few minutes let it simmer until it is formed like creamy milk. Pour the mixture into silicone moulds, you can add Kesar, and freeze it for at least 4 hours. Enjoy!

  9. 3 min Apple-Chia Smoothie:

  10. A power-packed smoothie is essential to give you that instant boost of energy! This recipe is simple and hardly takes 3 minutes to prepare.

    Add 1 Chopped Apple, 1 cup of cold Yoghurt, 1tsp Peanut Butter(optional) and 1.5tsp of Chia Seeds in a blender. Blend it well and serve it chilled. Voila! Quick Smoothie ready to be relished!
