Salad, of course, is the perfect way to cram a plethora of leafy greens and nutrient-packed fruits and vegetables into one bowl. This is the season of luscious sweet corn in the form of a cool salad. It is filled with the goodness and the power of the super ingredients- sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. It is a hearty way to have these splendid seeds that are brimming with nutrients and does so much good to the body.


2 cups Sweet corn kernels
1 Onion- medium-size
2 tbsp Raw Pumpkin Seeds
2 tbsp Raw Sunflower Seeds
2 tbsp Sunflower oil
1 ½ tbsp Raw Honey
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Sea salt- to taste
1/2 tsp Dried oregano

Directions (For qty, refer to the ingredients section)

  1. Heat water in a pot and boil the sweet corn kernels.
  2. After they are done, take it aside in a bowl and add diced onion to it.
  3. Now to make the salad dressing mix the lemon juice, honey and sea salt in a small bowl.
  4. Add the sunflower oil gradually and whisk it vigorously.
  5. When you are about to serve the salad, toss the seeds into the salad along with the dressing and mix it well.
  6. The sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds can also be toasted, if you want them to be crunchy, Add the dash of oregano and grab your bowl of this delightful salad!
