Zesty Watermelon Squash
Eat juicy ripe watermelon on a throat-parching day and you'll know what refreshment's all about. Now, take that watermelon and turn it into drinks, and you've got the ultimate thirst-quencher with the bonus of that ravishing watermelon colour. Want to dive in? All you need is just some fresh, juicy Watermelon, Bananas and you're ready to dive into a refreshing journey. For an added crunch and nutrition, you can also drizzle this smoothie with a spoonful of Chia Seeds.
Half cup water
1 sliced banana
1spoon lemon juice
1teaspoon honey/maple juice
Directions (For qty, refer to the ingredients section)
- In a blender, add 3 cups of chopped watermelon, ½ cup of water.
- Add 1 teaspoon of maple syrup or honey, 1 sliced banana & Mix it.
- 1 spoon lemon juice, blend and serve chilled by garnishing it with Basil leaves!
- You can also add Chia Seeds, for an extra cool refreshment!
